In Indonesia people only have two weathers: hot and rainy. The house is in a fairly tight area of houses. This house has an access and located deeper from the main road. This house has a wide area. The house has enough land area for use as open space or garden.
+[ The story behind "Face To face" ]
The name Face To Face House is actually taken from the unusual form of the houses construction. The first house and the second one are facing to each other. The house is situated in Ulujami - Pesanggrahan - Jakarta, Indonesia. house was built consists of 2 storeys. This house looks higher than other houses because the other has only one floor.
The owner wanted his house to looks a tropical house and using natural materials. This house has wide windows to get natural light and free air for chill the house. There are some big tropical trees as the house’s surrounding.

On the +[FIRST] floor of this house consists of several rooms.
1). 1 big kitchen room 2). 2 bed room 3). 1 bath room
4). 1 family room 5). 1 dining room 6) 1 quest room

On the +[SECOND] floor of this house consists of several rooms.

+[ Wide Facade ]
The house was built consists of 2 storeys. This house looks higher than other houses because the other has only one floor. The main entrance are designed with with 2 large doors. The aim of this 2 doors is to facilitate the entry of goods or furniture in the future. The entrace is made with glass door and door frame is using alumunium.
+[ Sun Orientation + Exposed Wood Style ]
The house is facing south, it is most advantageous for the design of this house. Sun orientation does not burden the temperature inside the house, therefore providing a wide aperture is needed. So the windows do not requier a big sun shade to protect it against the heat of the sun.
To bring natural impression, all wood materials are exposed with natural finishing. The wooden materials that was used in this house is the wood from the coconut trees. It is used as a roof truss, floor deck, and doors. But the windows are using aluminum material.
